Situated just 90 minutes from Cape Town, in the beautiful Overberg region, is Greyton and home to a luxurious boutique hotel, The Post House. The Post House has recently been acquired by owners, John and Janet Higginson – an absolute delight, they are so passionate about what they do! |
Before Autumn sets in why not pack your bags and escape Cape Town with us and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of Greyton! We will leave the city mid-morning arriving, in time for you to take a stroll or just lie at the pool and unwind! We have chosen the 4* Post House Hotel which is under new management, for our 3 day break-away. We will spend time exploring the town on Saturday, including their weekly market! Good restaurants will, once again, be sourced for you to enjoy a great dinner with fellow travellers. We are thinking of final tour day on the Sunday at the Caledon Casino where, if you like, you can spend some time in the Casino or just relax before we head back to Cape Town.
We have a list of 27 things to do in Greyton and will select some items of interest such as: Genadendal
museum / Donkey sanctuary / Antique shops / Von Geusau Chocolates / Forest Walk / Blue hippo farm / Historical stroll / Wine & Beer tasting.
