LALIBELA GAME RESERVE
STOP PRESS
DUE TO THE ONGOING PRASA PROBLEMS THE PREMIER CLASSE TRAIN HAS BEEN SUSPENDED. SOME ROUTES HAVE BEEN RE-INTRODUCED, HOWEVER THE PORT ELIZABETH ROUTE IS NOT ONE OF THESE.
IN DISCUSSION WITH ALL PASSENGERS BOOKED ON THIS TOUR, IT HAS BEEN DECIDED TO CONTINUE THE TOUR BY FLYING BOTH WAYS. THIS HAS REDUCED THE TRIP BY ONE DAY.
NEW DATES ARE: SATURDAY 16TH TO TUESDAY 19TH OCTOBER.

Where is Lalibela?

Lalibela is a 7,500 hectare malaria-free game reserve in the heart of the Eastern Cape game country.  Enjoy a Big Five getaway close to home.  Lalibela is just one hour from Port Elizabeth,
and brings you the charm of authentic Africa and is a perfect blend of the formal and informal.  Lalibela has three lodges all offering décor that is infused with the essence of Africa, as well as warm and friendly service and unforgettable game viewing.  At Lalibela, food is true safari cuisine with an emphasis on local specialties, ranging from centuries-old recipes to exciting contemporary African dishes.

How will we get to Lalibela?

I have opted for the Luxury Rail, Safari and Flight Package and this is how it works. We depart Cape Town on a Friday afternoon and travel by Premier Classe train to Port Elizabeth arriving on Saturday afternoon.  (Package includes dinner, bed and breakfast and lunch).  We will overnight at the Courtyard Suite Hotel a 4* hotel in Port Elizabeth (Package includes dinner and breakfast).

Our stay at Lalibela
On Sunday at noon we will be transferred to Lalibela.  After high tea we leave on a sunset game drive, returning after nightfall for a safari cuisine dinner.
On Monday after a light breakfast enjoy an early morning game drive and brunch.  You are then at leisure until high tea and the evening game drive.  You return to the lodge for another sumptuous dinner.
On Tuesday
you go on your last game drive.  After brunch you are transferred to Port Elizabeth airport for the return flight to Cape Town.

What is included included?

The package at Lalaibela includes accommodation, all meals, game drives and wine at dinner.
As always, your package from Traveltime
includes a shuttle from your home to the Cape Town station and from the Cape Town International Airport home again!

How do I book?

The package is an exceptionally good price and is available to South African residents.  I have made a provisional booking and in order to secure this you will need to reserve your place as soon as possible.
