The day for the June trip - LETS GO LOCAL dawned
and
what a perfect day in this Cape of Storms. I
don’t believe I’ve ever had such a perfect drive
along Chapmans Peak Drive. The
views were the same as always, but with NO WIND!
How very enjoyable it was.
Kalk Bay is always very quaint. A
few of us discovered a train and enjoyed a cup
of coffee. Lovely to see how the Kalk Bay
Railway Station has been cleaned up - all augers
well for 2010.
Our lunch at Café Roux was also
delectable. A must eat-at restaurant if you are
in Noordhoek. |
