Margaret and Hettie serve their starters.  Dot and Dawn decided that dessert time was the appropriate time to toast the camera man.  Wilken and Joachim added such an elegant touch to our day with their violin and cello.

Denise and Annette look so happy to be at the lunch.  Family -  Alison, Darryl and Michelle catch up before lunch.  Gillie, Ingrid and Shirley are pleased to get to know each other.  Shirley is one of the Founder members but because she now lives in Johannesburg is unable to come on many of the coach tours.

Susan got to meet guest Merrillyn, a guest for the day,  whilst waiting for dessert. Joy, Sandy and Jenny were very happy to pose for the photographer - after all they were all dressed in their finery!  Carol decided Wilken needed to be introduced to all the ladies.

Dot gives Carol a superb bunch of country flowers as a gift from a number of Time Out members. This was coupled with her favourite perfume!  What a treat. Chrissie was delighted to receive a "full day wine tour" voucher from Geert of Hylton Ross.  Dot was equally pleased with her "township tour" voucher.

What is a birthday without a cake. Ten candles were soon lit and Carol very quickly got Mel and Annette to help her blow them out.

A very emotional reading of a plaque for Carol by her family. Click on the plaque to view an enlargement and share in the moment. Michelle, Vicki, Alison and Darryl presented the awesome plaque to Carol.

Waiting to accept their "The way we were" badges are 11 of 17 founder members of Time Out.  "Where is Carol?" Oh, she is reading the names out of the missing ladies who were away on holidays overseas.  What wonderful support these ladies have given to the Time Out Ladies Club - joining in 2000 or 2001 and still coming on many coach trips each year.

Our 10th anniversary was celebrated in style, with much fun and laughter.
A trip down memory lane produced many shrieks of disbelief.
Not only in our appearance, but in what we have done over the past 10 years.
The funny moments depicted in photos captured the hilarity of the moment.
Our modes of transport over the 10 years proved that we have indeed progressed.
Each Year we strive to improve on the year just past
and hope that we can continue to do so.
Thank you all for sharing the friendship & fun with us.
Long may it continue.
