After all, over 285 ladies have joined the club since its inception………..well over 3060 bookings have gone through the system and over 123 destinations have been explored.
Cause to celebrate! The format was a mystery trip – so no-one knew where they would be going! Much speculation was made on the outgoing trip – but up to the time that we arrived at Grande Provence outside Franschhoek – no-one had guessed where we would be going!
Two coaches ferried the ladies – one from Constantia and one from Tableview – also a new record – 56 ladies in total – a wonderful day of celebration

Scholars from the Franschhoek High School entertained us – a bit of a misnomer – as they were predominately young children! Bought a tear to a few eyes – especially when they sang about “Wanting to own a BIG house, with a BIG garden” – a lovely touch to our morning and the Grande Provence Art Gallery a lovely place to stand and listen to these children. Thank you to Jeanette Steyn for putting this programme together.

After this Mel Fraser started proceedings in her usual efficient manner – her speech is treasured each year!

Ladies were introduced to Peter Templehoff their celebrated chef – what a treat! What an absolutely awesome meal Grande Provence served us. A fitting way to celebrate our 7th anniversary.

Lucky ticket numbers ensured many ladies went home with lovely prizes – donated by very generous sponsors. Goody bags were handed out to everyone! What a wonderful way to celebrate our anniversary – with the promise of many more to come!
