Langkloof Roses
Wellington |
|
|
 |
|
At the foot of the evergreen
Groenberg in Wellington, lays
the intimate Wedding & Function
venue Langkloof Roses,
surrounded by Oak trees and a
Valley of roses. Langkloof is
surely a hidden gem. When you
talk about roses – you will see
plenty of rose bushes – in fact,
they have 14,000 rose plants!
Talk about roses. Their staff are
out early every morning from
mid-October to late summer
picking from these bushes and
packaging them in brown paper to
give their bunches a vintage
feel. |
|
|
 |
 |
|
The entrance to the Tea
Room presents a restful
atmosphere which extends
into the casually
comfortable seating
area, beckoning you to
come in and relax! We
will have lunch here.
Langkloof does not have
a liquor licence, so
please feel free to
bring your own wine to
enjoy with your lunch.
No corkage will be
charged. |
|
 |
 |
|
The stained glass
windows frame the
beautiful rose garden
beyond. Roses will be in
bloom so you will be
able to buy a bunch or
two to take home. (20
roses in a bunch!). |
|
 |
 |
|
Weddings are conducted
in their quaint church
with the piano providing
the accompaniment.
|
|
 |
 |
|
The restored 1854 Manor
House furnished with
velvets and King Arthur
chandeliers has a classy
mystic to it & a bar
area available for your
use (wedding receptions,
functions etc). Langkloof Farm
becomes a little
village, a French love
affair! We will enjoy
time in their gardens
admiring the roses
followed by lunch in
their Tea Garden. |
|
|
|
|
COST OF THE DAY TO
LANGKLOOF will be R320
per person and will
include your transport,
lunch and a single rose
for each of you to take
home!
(Additional roses will
be available to
purchase)

Constantia Village at 08h45
and Tableview
Shopping Centre 09h30.
